The furry critters of this world, and in particular dogs, have such a magical energy. They’re pure, loyal, (almost 😉 always in a good mood and ready to provide joy and comfort whenever this is needed. In order to get the most value out of a session, it’s important my clients, not matter their age, feel at ease -as much as this is possible- whilst also addressing challenging subjects. Especially whilst addressing challenging subjects I’d say!
Charlie and Cooper take turns in providing this extra comfort blanket and it’s pretty incredible to see how they sense it when a client needs them near. Sometimes they sit with the client, other times they lay on their laps or right beside them. It’s intuition, it’s how nature works. Unfortunately most of us are rather far removed from this.. Charlie and Cooper bring back that bit of nature and a whole lot of love. And of course there are days where they enjoy being at the doggie hotel, in case a client is (really) scared of dogs and/or allergic.
It’s an absolute joy to have them around, and I hope more businesses, and therapists’ offices in particular, will see the added value of having a furry critter around!
